If you are an artiste in Nigeria or any African country, I believe you must have search for "online store for afro beats" on Google and must have reached a break wall. That's exactly the situation I, Unimke Abana, faced when I was looking for a platform where I can buy instrumentals online without having to tour the whole Lagos or other states in Nigeria.
Because I couldn't find such platform, I thought about how other upcoming artistes like me must have faced the same problem. Then I called my friend turned brother, Ator, and discussed with him how I wish there was a platform for Africa producers to sell their crafts. Brutalbeatz was born!
While the goal is to give Nigerian upcoming artistes the opportunity to have access to a large pool of producers they can pick from to work with, we thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to make Brutalbeatz accessible to not only Nigerians but Africans as a whole.
We believe the time has come for the world to ride on the wave of Africa music, and Brutalbeatz wants to be the engine that propel the music industry in Africa to a new height.
Music doesn't have to be perfect. In fact, I think it's better when it's imperfect.
